Major Waqas, an officer in the Pakistan Army, has touched the hearts of many by adopting a baby girl who was tragically abandoned and left for dead in a graveyard in Nowshera.
The distressing event occurred on February 7, 2025, when the infant was found alive but buried in the graveyard. Thanks to the swift action of the 1122 Rescue Team, the baby was rescued and immediately taken to a nearby hospital for care.
