Pakistan Army Wins Gold Medal at Cambrian Patrol 2025 in Wales

The Pakistan Army has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning a gold medal at the prestigious Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2025 held in Wales, United Kingdom.

Led by Captain Muhammad Saad, the Pakistan Army team outperformed 137 teams from 36 countries in the world-renowned military competition. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the exercise took place from October 3 to 13 in Wales. This year marked the 66th edition of the event, often recognized as one of the toughest and most respected military challenges in the world.

During the exercise, participants were required to cover nearly 60 kilometers of rugged terrain within 48 hours while completing tactical and technical missions under simulated combat conditions. The event tested every aspect of soldiers’ endurance, teamwork, and decision-making in demanding environments.

The Pakistan Army team displayed exceptional professionalism, leadership, and coordination throughout the competition. Their outstanding performance earned them the top honor β€” the gold medal β€” among hundreds of international participants.

In an official statement, ISPR praised the achievement, calling it a reflection of the Pakistan Army’s commitment to excellence. β€œThis success is a matter of national pride. The Pakistan Army continues to stand out for its discipline, training, and determination,” it stated.

The Cambrian Patrol is organized annually by the British Army and is often referred to as the β€œOlympics of military patrolling.” The competition brings together elite military units from around the world, testing their tactical skills and endurance under real-world conditions.

The Pakistan Army has a strong history of performing exceptionally in previous editions of the Cambrian Patrol, frequently securing top positions. This year’s gold medal once again highlights its world-class training standards and professional capability.
