Pakistan dispatches its 27th relief consignment for the people affected by the ongoing conflict in Palestine, according to Radio Pakistan.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), acting on the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, sent an additional humanitarian aid shipment with the support of Alkhidmat Foundation.
The consignment, weighing 100 tons, was transported via a special flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. It includes essential items such as blankets, tarpaulins, clothing, and hygiene and family kits to assist the war-affected population.
With the dispatch of this latest aid, Pakistan dispatches have now totaled 27 consignments, amounting to 2,627 tons of humanitarian supplies sent to Palestine. This shows Pakistanโs continued commitment to supporting civilians affected by conflict.
Earlier, Pakistan strongly condemned recent attacks by Israeli forces across Gaza, which killed several Palestinian civilians, including women and children, and injured many others. A Foreign Office spokesperson said the actions violate international law, relevant UN resolutions, and the recent Sharm el-Sheikh peace agreement.
โThese attacks undermine international efforts aimed at achieving lasting peace and stability in the region,โ the spokesperson added.
Humanitarian organizations in Pakistan continue to work alongside the government to ensure the timely delivery of aid. The Pakistan dispatches aim to alleviate the suffering of the affected population and provide critical support during this crisis.
The latest consignment reinforces Pakistanโs role in international humanitarian assistance and its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in conflict zones.
