Pakistan, EU Agree on Broader Partnership at Strategic Dialogue in Brussels

Brussels: Pakistan and the European Union have agreed to strengthen cooperation and expand their partnership across political, economic, security, and development sectors during the latest round of the Pakistan-EU Strategic Dialogue held in Brussels.

Senior officials from both sides reviewed ongoing collaboration under the EU-Pakistan Strategic Engagement Plan, discussing trade, climate change, migration, digital transformation, and regional stability. The EU appreciated Pakistanโ€™s economic reforms and emphasized continued support for sustainable development and humanitarian assistance.

Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing bilateral trade, securing GSP+ benefits, and deepening cooperation in counterterrorism and peace efforts. Both sides agreed to work towards a more robust long-term partnership and hold the next dialogue round in Islamabad.
