Brussels: Pakistan and the European Union have agreed to strengthen cooperation and expand their partnership across political, economic, security, and development sectors during the latest round of the Pakistan-EU Strategic Dialogue held in Brussels.
Senior officials from both sides reviewed ongoing collaboration under the EU-Pakistan Strategic Engagement Plan, discussing trade, climate change, migration, digital transformation, and regional stability. The EU appreciated Pakistanโs economic reforms and emphasized continued support for sustainable development and humanitarian assistance.
Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing bilateral trade, securing GSP+ benefits, and deepening cooperation in counterterrorism and peace efforts. Both sides agreed to work towards a more robust long-term partnership and hold the next dialogue round in Islamabad.
