More than 60 international Flights from major Pakistani airports have been cancelled, according to airport sources.
The disruption has affected thousands of passengers travelling between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Lahore Airport Reports 15 Flight Cancellations
Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport has reported 15 cancelled international flights.
The affected services include routes connecting Lahore with Jeddah, Riyadh and destinations in the UAE.
Current airport schedules also show continued adjustments to services operating between Pakistan and Gulf destinations.

Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport recorded the highest number of cancellations, with 19 services affected.
Islamabad International Airport reported 14 cancelled Flights amid the ongoing disruption.
Other airports across Pakistan have also been affected.
Four flights were cancelled from Faisalabad, while another four were cancelled from Peshawar.
Multan reported five cancellations, while two services were cancelled from Sialkot.
These cancellations have created uncertainty for passengers with planned international journeys.
Gulf Security Tensions Affect Air Travel
The flight disruption comes amid increased security tensions in the Gulf region.
Saudi Arabia has faced attacks by Iran-backed Houthi forces.
The situation has prompted Riyadh to intensify military operations in Yemen, increasing concerns about regional security.
Pakistan has urged Iran to use its influence to restrain the Houthis.
Islamabad has also emphasized the importance of pursuing a diplomatic solution to regional tensions.
