A new polio case has been confirmed in Pakistan, bringing the total for the year to 69.
The latest case involves a 13-month-old girl from Tank, where the National Institute of Health confirmed the virus.

This marks the fifth polio case in Tank since 2024. Balochistan has reported 27 cases, Sindh 19, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 21.
Islamabad and Punjab have each recorded one case. Authorities are urging parents to vaccinate their children and participate in anti-polio campaigns to eliminate the virus.
