Pakistan has expressed serious concern over the alarming rise in Islamophobic incidents in India, warning that the incitement of religious hatred for political gains violates international human rights norms.
Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan condemned the targeting of Muslims through hate speech, discriminatory policies, and violence, often carried out with the silence or support of Indian authorities. He urged New Delhi to ensure the rights and safety of all citizens, regardless of faith.

The statement follows growing anti-Muslim actions across India after the Pahalgam attack in IIOJK — for which India has blamed Pakistan without evidence. Human rights groups have recorded over 20 such incidents, including public hate speeches and violent assaults.
The situation has been worsened by the spread of Hindutva-inspired music on social platforms, while Gujarat authorities have reportedly demolished 2,000 homes of alleged undocumented migrants, sparking criticism of systemic discrimination against Muslims.
