Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to advancing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) into its next phase, with a focus on expanding cooperation in trade, industrial development, digital technology, and agriculture. His statement was made during the International Conference on China’s Development and Global Leadership Journey.
Dar emphasized China’s remarkable economic growth, predicting its rise as a leading global economic power. He highlighted Pakistan’s strategic partnership with China, sharing that China has extended an offer to host 100 senior Pakistani agricultural students to teach advanced techniques aimed at improving per-acre crop production.

He stressed Pakistan’s determination to further strengthen CPEC, broadening the scope of collaboration between the two countries.
