Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif vehemently condemned the assault on Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, who was attacked in central Copenhagen.
Frederiksen was targeted while walking through a public square, forcefully pushed by a man who was promptly apprehended. Despite suffering a minor neck injury, Frederiksen emerged physically unscathed but understandably shaken.

The incident sparked global outrage, prompting Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif to express his condemnation on social media. He emphasized that violence has no place in politics and extended his heartfelt wishes for Frederiksen’s swift recovery.
“I condemn the cowardly attack on Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Violence has no place in politics. Wishing her a speedy recovery,” tweeted Shehbaz Sharif.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and the assailant is scheduled to appear in court. Incidents of political violence in Denmark are rare, with a recent notable occurrence being an attempted assassination of the Slovak Prime Minister.
