A tragic incident unfolded in Pakpattan, Punjab, where an eight-year-old boy allegedly took his mother’s life after she refused to give him money for Eidul Fitr 2025.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the Gulzarabad area when the minor requested money from his mother. Upon her refusal, he became furious and attacked her with a pair of scissors, inflicting severe injuries. The wounded woman was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her deep wounds.

Law enforcement swiftly arrived at the scene, taking the juvenile suspect into custody while launching an investigation into the heartbreaking case.
In a separate incident earlier this month, another tragic act of violence was reported in the Sundar police precinct. A man, identified as Ali Hussain, attacked his mother, Rizwana Bibi, and his brother over a property dispute. Using a knife, he fatally wounded his mother, who died in the hospital, while his brother sustained serious injuries and remains under medical care.
Authorities have registered an FIR, stating that the attack was fueled by greed for inheritance. Ali Hussain fled the scene, and police are actively conducting raids to apprehend him.
