PESHAWAR – A wedding celebration in Peshawar took a dangerous turn when police arrested the groom and 11 others for engaging in celebratory gunfire. The incident occurred in the Tehkal locality, where the groom and his guests were seen firing guns into the air during the festivities.

The video showed the reckless use of firearms in a crowded area, raising serious safety concerns. The investigation was supervised by DSP Town Circle, Arbab Naeem Haider. Police tracked down and apprehended the suspects, including the groom, identified as Jibran, along with other attendees involved in the unlawful activity.
During the operation, law enforcement officials seized a range of weapons from the suspects. Confiscated firearms included an LMG gun, an M4 rifle, two Kalashnikovs, and a pistol, highlighting the potential danger posed by the celebratory shooting.
