Petrol and Diesel Prices are Expected to Drop in Pakistan

Pakistan is anticipated to experience a significant drop in Petrol and Diesel Prices soon, with reductions of up to Rs12 per litre expected for these and other petroleum products, according to industry sources.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is scheduled to finalize these pricing changes and present its recommendations to the government by August 15.

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, in consultation with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, will make the final decision on the new prices.

If approved, these reductions could offer some relief to consumers dealing with high inflation and increased living costs.

Further updates will follow the submission of OGRA’s report.
