The Finance Division said the revision follows OGRA’s recommendations, with a focus on collecting petroleum levy (PL) to fund electricity subsidies and development projects in Balochistan. Consumers are currently paying Rs78 per litre PL on petrol and Rs77 on diesel, with plans to raise it to Rs90.

Meanwhile, OGRA has slashed the price of LPG by Rs4.62 per kg for June, reducing the cost of an 11.8kg cylinder by Rs54.60 to Rs2,838.31. The price drop follows a 2.67% decline in the Saudi Aramco CP and minor rupee depreciation.
