PIA Expands Travel Network, Connects 25 Chinese Cities to Pakistan

PIA Expands Travel Network, Connects 25 Chinese Cities to Pakistan

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has expanded its international reach by strengthening air connectivity between China and Pakistan. The latest initiative by PIA focuses on improving travel access for passengers across major Chinese cities. It aims to support tourism, education, and trade between the two countries.

Under new partnerships with Air China and Shenzhen Airlines, PIA has made travel more convenient for passengers. Travelers from 25 cities in China can now connect easily to the direct Beijingโ€“Islamabad route operated by PIA. This development marks an important step in regional aviation cooperation.

Through its collaboration with Air China, PIA offers connectivity from 16 major Chinese cities. These include Beijing-linked routes from cities such as Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Xiโ€™an, Wuhan, Chongqing, and Urumqi. This network allows smoother travel options for international passengers.

In addition, PIA has partnered with Shenzhen Airlines to expand access further. This partnership connects nine more cities to the Beijingโ€“Islamabad route. These include Nanning, Wuxi, Nantong, Quanzhou/Jinjiang, Xiangyang, Yichun, Chengdu Tianfu, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. This extended network improves overall regional connectivity.

The new arrangement allows passengers to travel on a single ticket from multiple cities in China to Islamabad via Beijing. This simplifies the journey and reduces transit difficulties. PIA has emphasized that the system is designed to improve passenger comfort and travel efficiency.

PIA has also introduced competitive through-fares under this agreement. These reduced fares make international travel more affordable for passengers. The initiative is expected to benefit Pakistani students studying in China, as well as business travelers and tourists.

Officials said the expanded cooperation reflects PIAโ€™s commitment to strengthening ties between China and Pakistan. The airline aims to promote tourism, cultural exchange, and educational collaboration through improved connectivity.

The growing network also supports trade relations between the two countries. Easier travel options help businesses and professionals move more efficiently. This strengthens long-term economic cooperation.

Passengers can book tickets through official PIA offices, authorized travel agents, and online platforms. Travelers are advised to contact PIA representatives for detailed booking information.
