Her brother, identified as Riaz Baloch, was arrested in 2022 during a police operation. Authorities recovered around 1,590 grams of narcotics from his possession.
Following the recovery, a case was registered under Section 9-C of the relevant narcotics law. Officials say this case is part of the broader investigation linked to the Pinky case.
The FIR further states that Anmol Pinky was allegedly present during the raid but managed to escape from the scene.
Investigators claim that during interrogation, her brother allegedly named her as part of the drug network. This led to her being declared an absconder.
Sources say both siblings were living in the Pak Arab Society area of Lahore. They are suspected of operating within an organized trafficking group.
The Pinky case has raised concerns due to its possible cross-provincial links. Authorities are now examining whether the network extends beyond Lahore.
Officials also noted that no prior arrest record of Anmol Pinky exists in Punjab Police databases. This has raised questions about how she allegedly avoided detection.
