PM and President Honour Teachers on World Teachers’ Day

On October 5, 2024, Pakistan joined the global celebration of World Teachers’ Day, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari paying tribute to the nation’s educators for their invaluable role in shaping the future.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised teachers as “the architects of our future” and emphasized their importance in building a knowledge-based economy. He expressed deep gratitude to teachers across Pakistan and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to support educators through modern infrastructure and educational resources.
