Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has launched a new laptop distribution plan. PM Shehbaz Announces 100,000 Laptops for Students to boost education through technology. He revealed this at an International Youth Day event in Islamabad today.
The premier said laptops will be given to top-performing students. The scheme will cover all provinces, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

This project is separate from the existing interest-based laptop loan scheme.

The chair of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Khan, spoke too. He reminded that focused youth policies began under Shehbaz’s earlier tenure. Many students benefited through laptops, loans, and scholarships.
A minister also highlighted this government’s efforts for minorities. He reaffirmed rights and and fairness for all, regardless of faith.
