Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday praised the delegation led by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari for effectively bringing global attention to Indian aggression. He acknowledged the delegation’s efforts in clearly presenting Pakistanโs stance at various international forums.
During a meeting with Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, who briefed the Prime Minister on recent diplomatic engagements in the United States and Europe, PM Shehbaz extended his congratulations and hosted a dinner in their honor. He expressed appreciation for the entire teamโs dedication in countering Indian propaganda and promoting Pakistanโs narrative abroad.

The delegation included prominent figures such as Sherry Rehman, Dr. Musadik Malik, Hina Rabbani Khar, Senator Bushra Anjum Butt, Senator Faisal Sabzwari, Engineer Khurram Dastgir, Jalil Abbas Jilani, and Tehmina Janjua. The Prime Minister emphasized that their representation of Pakistan was marked by a strong national spirit and had garnered recognition both domestically and internationally.
He specifically lauded Bilawal Bhutto for articulating Pakistanโs position with clarity, especially on sensitive matters like the situation in Pahalgam and the Indus Waters Treaty. According to PM Shehbaz, the delegationโs efforts effectively projected Pakistanโs perspective on the global stage.
Highlighting the broader context, the Prime Minister added that due to Pakistanโs diplomatic outreach, public support, and the militaryโs professionalism, India has been forced to bear the consequences of its aggressive behavior.
Shifting focus to domestic matters, PM Shehbaz also spoke about the federal budget for 2025โ26, stating that it includes relief measures for all sectors, particularly the salaried class. He thanked all coalition partners, including the PPP, for their support in finalizing the budget.
The dinner was attended by several key figures, including Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, Economic Affairs Minister Ahsan Cheema, Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Rana Sanaullah, and special assistants Talha Burki and Tariq Fatemi. PM Shehbaz concluded by expressing hope that, with continued cooperation and collective efforts, the nation will overcome both internal and external challenges.
