Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders have confirmed significant political developments in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), signaling a major shift in the regionโs landscape. Faisal Rathore has emerged as the PPPโs official nominee for the post of AJK Prime Minister.
PPP leader Chaudhry Yasin emphasized that the party remains committed to the people of Kashmir and has grown into a strong political force in the region. He praised PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari for making timely decisions that have strengthened the party ahead of upcoming elections.

Meanwhile, PPP leaders Raja Pervez Ashraf and Chaudhry Yasin held a press briefing outside Zardari House. Ashraf confirmed that after internal consultations, the PPP plans to submit a no-confidence motion against the current AJK government.
Raja Pervez Ashraf expressed confidence in the partyโs political strategy, stating, โOur government will be formed in Jammu and Kashmir.โ He noted that the no-confidence motion is expected to be formally submitted today, marking a pivotal moment in AJKโs evolving political scenario.
The PPPโs strategic moves indicate its growing influence in the region and determination to secure leadership in AJK.
