PPSC Announces New Jobs Across Multiple Departments in Punjab

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced new government job opportunities in several departments across Punjab. The vacancies have been published through PPSC Advertisement No. 07/2026, offering positions for candidates with different educational backgrounds and professional qualifications.

According to the latest advertisement, PPSC is inviting online applications for posts in multiple government departments. These include the Local Government and Community Development Department, Board of Revenue, Punjab Police Special Branch, Rescue 1122, Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department, Mines and Minerals Department, Child Protection and Welfare Bureau, and the Information and Culture Department.

The advertisement was officially published on July 21, 2026. Interested candidates can submit their online applications until August 5, 2026.

The new recruitment drive includes vacancies ranging from BS-11 to BS-18. The commission has announced a wide variety of positions to fill administrative, technical, medical, and professional roles.

The available posts include Municipal Officer, Assistant, Junior Clerk, Stenographer, Technical Officer Software, Database Administrator, Emergency Officer, Senior Medical Officer, Public Relations Officer, Purchase Officer, Social Welfare Officer, Assistant HR Officer, Assistant Officer Planning, Senior Registrar, Head Draftsman, Child Psychologist, Information Officer, and Junior Computer Operator.

A large number of vacancies have been announced in the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department. Most of these positions are for Senior Registrar posts in different medical specialties.

The eligibility requirements vary according to the position. Candidates with Intermediate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBBS, FCPS, engineering, computer science, psychology, journalism, and other relevant qualifications can apply if they meet the specified criteria.

Some positions also require professional experience, registration with relevant authorities, typing skills, shorthand speed, or computer proficiency. Applicants should carefully review the eligibility conditions before submitting their applications.

The PPSC selection process will mainly begin with a written examination. Most vacancies require a one-paper multiple-choice (MCQ) test carrying 100 marks. The test duration will be 90 minutes.

General ability questions will be included for many positions. Technical and professional posts will have subject-specific questions based on the required qualification and field of study.

Candidates applying for clerical and stenographer positions may also need to appear in typing, shorthand, or computer proficiency tests after successfully clearing the written examination.

The commission has advised applicants to read all instructions carefully before applying. Important details regarding the application fee, age limit, educational qualifications, experience requirements, written test, interview process, and required documents are available in the official advertisement.

Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official PPSC website. Applications submitted after the closing date will not be accepted.
