People’s Party-Parliamentarians (PPP-P) leader Nayyar Bukhari said political issues can only be resolved through dialogue. He criticized PTI, saying the party’s approach has blocked meaningful talks.
In a statement, the PPP-P Secretary General said, “How could dialogue take place when the PTI fails to treat the prime minister’s offer of talks seriously?” He added that PTI’s internal divisions and chaos have worsened the situation.
Nayyar Bukhari noted that PTI’s founder often steps back just when dialogue is about to start. “The PTI has been divided into factions and confusion,” he said. He also warned that using street power would not solve political problems. “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s CM will fail to achieve anything with confrontation,” he added.
The PPP leader welcomed reports that PTI’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi plans to visit Sindh. He said provincial authorities are coordinating to ensure a smooth visit. “We will welcome the KP chief minister in Sindh,” Nayyar Bukhari said.
According to sources, the Sindh government contacted PTI leadership to arrange proper protocol for Afridi’s visit. PPP’s Nasir Hussain Shah reportedly spoke to PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh to ensure the trip is smooth.
Shah emphasized that Sindh authorities will prevent problems similar to those seen in Punjab. He added that the plan has the backing of senior party leadership. Haleem Adil Sheikh confirmed the communication and assured that Afridi received the message from Sindh government.
Political analysts say PTI fails to maintain unity during sensitive negotiations, which complicates dialogue efforts. PPP leaders continue to push for talks, highlighting that cooperation is essential for resolving ongoing issues between provinces.
The upcoming visit by KP’s chief minister may offer a chance for dialogue, but observers note that PTI fails to present a consistent stance on national-level discussions. Political stability in both provinces remains uncertain as both parties seek coordination and mutual understanding.
