The new system will use “E-Pension Papers” instead of traditional “Pension Papers,” and the application process has been modernized with medical certificates now known as “e-medical certificates.”

This change is part of broader reforms to the Punjab Civil Servants Act of 1974, aimed at improving and streamlining pension administration.

The Secretary of the Finance Department Punjab has issued the Gazette Notification to implement these updates.
