Senator Rahman added that satellite-based internet services will soon be introduced in the public sector. The provincial IT department is already working on related projects. These efforts are part of a broader digital transformation strategy.
The Punjab Govt also plans to connect nearly 6 million young people with modern technology over the next four years. This initiative is aimed at improving digital skills and future job opportunities.
