Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has sanctioned a plan to offer free doorstep delivery services from Model Bazaars in Lahore.
The decision followed a comprehensive presentation by Chairman Afzal Khokhar of the Model Bazaar Management Company. If implemented, the initiative aims to provide affordable fruits and vegetables directly to Punjab residents’ doorsteps.

Additionally, a mobile app for online orders from Model Bazaars will be launched, with plans to establish such bazaars in every district within a year. The chief minister emphasized transitioning Model Bazaars to green energy and ensuring that produce is sold below government-set prices.
Maryam Nawaz also stressed the importance of maintaining high-quality standards for items sold at Model Bazaars.
