ISLAMABAD โ Former Chief of Army Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa has reportedly been admitted to a hospital following a serious incident at his Rawalpindi residence. Recent reports suggest his condition may be critical.
Journalist Asadullah Khan shared that Bajwa suffered a brain hemorrhage and is receiving urgent medical treatment. He reportedly cannot recognize people around him, including his own sons. However, the family has not issued any official medical confirmation regarding these claims.
Last month, Bajwaโs family confirmed that the retired general was hospitalized after sustaining injuries from a fall at his home. Reports indicate that the fall occurred around 4:30 a.m. in his washroom, causing injuries to multiple parts of his body, including his head. He was immediately taken to a hospital in Rawalpindi, where doctors began urgent care.
Sources close to the family revealed that Qamar Javed Bajwa is currently under observation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Doctors are closely monitoring his health, and hospital authorities have not released any official statement about his condition so far.
