The incident occurred at Darul Uloom Muhiyyul Islam Siddiqia in Kallar Syedan. The deceased student was identified as Muhammad Faizan Ali.

Faizan was the son of Muhammad Sultan, a resident of Bhakkar district. Police said the child’s body showed multiple marks of severe physical assault.

The student had allegedly suffered serious physical violence before his death. His family later noticed injuries on his body.

Police said the madrasa management allegedly tried to conceal the circumstances surrounding the death. The body was reportedly bathed after the child died.

The matter came to light after family members noticed visible marks of torture. They subsequently informed the police about their concerns.

Police reached the madrasa after receiving the information. Two suspects were arrested during the initial investigation.

A case was registered against three people, including Qari Sanaullah. He had allegedly fled the area following the incident.

Police said Sanaullah was Faizan’s teacher at the madrasa. After the death, he allegedly accompanied the body from the hospital.

The family transported the body to Bhakkar. They noticed injuries while preparing the body for burial.

The family then visited Sanaullah’s residence. According to the FIR, the house was locked at that time.

Sanaullah later allegedly spoke with the family by phone. The FIR says he admitted beating Faizan over an unmemorised lesson.
