Pakistan boxer Qudrat Ullah has reportedly gone missing in Scotland after representing the country at the Commonwealth Games. The Pakistan Boxing Federation confirmed the incident and said an investigation is underway to determine what happened.
According to reports, Qudrat Ullah did not return with the national boxing team after the tournament in Glasgow. Officials said he disappeared just hours before the team’s scheduled departure for Pakistan.
The team had been instructed to gather in the hotel lobby at 9:00 am before leaving for the airport. When officials noticed that Qudrat Ullah had not arrived, they went to his room to check on him.
However, the boxer was not found in his room. Team officials said he was missing, prompting immediate concern among members of the national delegation.
Reports stated that Qudrat Ullah was last seen at around 2:00 am in his hotel room. By the time the team prepared to leave later that morning, there was no sign of him.
Officials also revealed that his passport and return ticket were with the team manager at the time of his disappearance. This detail has raised further questions as investigators try to understand the circumstances surrounding the case.
The Pakistan Boxing Federation confirmed the missing athlete report and said the matter is being taken seriously. Federation officials stated that relevant authorities have been informed and an investigation has begun.
