Quetta Holds Christmas Event to Remember Christian Martyrs

QUETTA: A special Christmas Event was held in Quetta to honor the martyrs of Balochistan’s Christian community. The ceremony paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives while serving Pakistan. The gathering highlighted unity, respect, and the shared values of all citizens.

The Christmas Event was attended by Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and the Corps Commander Quetta. Members of the Christian community were also present in large numbers. Together, they remembered the courage and dedication of Christian martyrs who served the country with loyalty and bravery.

During the ceremony, the chief guests offered heartfelt homage to the martyrs. They praised the valuable role played by the Christian community in Pakistan’s defence and development. The speakers said the sacrifices of minority communities are a proud part of the nation’s history. They stressed that these sacrifices must always be remembered and respected.

Addressing the audience, the governor and the corps commander highlighted the importance of religious harmony. They said Pakistan’s strength lies in unity among people of different faiths. Pastor Asif Jan also addressed the gathering. He said the sacrifices of Christian martyrs form a strong base for unity and peace. He noted that such ceremonies help keep the memory of martyrs alive. He added that their courage continues to inspire younger generations.

The ceremony ended with special prayers. Participants prayed for the martyrs, peace in Pakistan, and harmony among all communities.
