RAWALPINDI: Pakistani television anchor Rabiya Ahsan, associated with 92 News, was found shot dead at her residence in Rawalpindi.
The incident occurred in the Gulshanabad area near Adiala Road, raising concerns among journalists and the media community.
Police confirmed that the female anchor suffered a gunshot wound and was found dead inside her bedroom.

According to police officials, Rabiya Ahsan’s body was recovered from her house in Gulshanabad, Rawalpindi.
Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera confirmed the incident and shared initial details of the investigation.
He stated that the television anchor had suffered a single gunshot wound to the front of her neck.
The wound was located just below her throat, according to the police officer.
Investigators also recovered a firearm from the residence, which they suspect was used in the incident.
