The Pakistani government has expressed readiness for political dialogue with opposition parties, said Prime Ministerโs Adviser on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah.
Speaking on Wednesday, Rana Sanaullah stated that the prime minister has invited the opposition to talks three times. โNow it is up to the opposition whether they join the dialogue or not,โ he added.
Rana Sanaullah also commented on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) partyโs actions. He claimed that the PTI founder is seeking to recreate the events of May 9. The adviser said the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is actively pursuing this objective. โPeople will reject their strike call,โ he said.
Regarding security matters, Rana Sanaullah emphasized the governmentโs commitment to combating terrorism. โWe will lead the operation against terrorism to success,โ he noted. The adviser also warned that any obstruction by the provincial government could increase the likelihood of governorโs rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Rana Sanaullahโs statements come amid ongoing political tension between the ruling government and opposition parties. The government appears determined to maintain law and order while keeping avenues for dialogue open.
The adviser highlighted that the prime minister is committed to peaceful resolution through discussion. However, he also stressed that security and stability remain top priorities. โWe will not allow any disruption of public order,โ he said.
Political analysts note that Rana Sanaullahโs remarks signal a firm stance from the government. By emphasizing both dialogue and action against unrest, officials aim to balance political engagement with law enforcement.
Observers also point out that the oppositionโs response to the invitations will be closely watched. Rana Sanaullahโs comments suggest that the government prefers dialogue but is prepared for stricter measures if necessary.
The statements by Rana Sanaullah underline the ongoing political challenges in Pakistan. They reflect the governmentโs approach of combining negotiation with security measures to ensure stability.
