District Health Authority Rawalpindi has announced 1,562 temporary jobs under its Dengue Campaign to strengthen surveillance and prevention efforts across the district. Applications have been invited for field staff and technical positions on a contingent paid or daily-wage basis.
According to the official advertisement, the appointments will be made for a period of up to 89 days. The recruitment drive aims to support anti-dengue activities during the high-risk season by increasing field operations and technical monitoring.
The vacancies include 62 Entomologist posts and 1,500 Sanitary Patrol posts. These positions will play an important role in the Dengue Campaign by carrying out field inspections, mosquito larvae surveillance, and reporting activities.
The largest share of vacancies has been allocated to Sanitary Patrol staff. Out of the 1,500 positions, 450 seats are reserved for male candidates and 1,050 seats for female candidates. These posts have been distributed across various towns, tehsils, union councils, wards, and cantonment areas of Rawalpindi district.
The Sanitary Patrol staff will conduct door-to-door visits, inspect potential mosquito breeding sites, and assist in awareness activities. They will also perform other duties assigned under the Dengue Campaign to help reduce the spread of dengue.
Applicants interested in Sanitary Patrol positions must be physically fit because the work involves regular field visits. Candidates should also have access to an Android smartphone, as field reports and monitoring will be carried out through a digital reporting system.
The District Health Authority has also announced 62 vacancies for Entomologists. These positions are intended for candidates who meet the required educational qualifications and experience criteria mentioned in the official advertisement.
Applicants with qualifications in public health, vector control, dengue surveillance, or related fields will be given consideration according to the recruitment policy. The selected Entomologists will support technical monitoring and help improve mosquito control efforts across the district.
The recruitment process will take place in multiple stages. Tehsil-level interviews are scheduled for July 23 and 24, 2026. Final interviews and document scrutiny will be held on July 25 and 27, 2026, while the final selection list is expected to be announced on July 28, 2026.
Interested candidates must submit their applications to the office of the Chief Executive Officer, District Health Authority Rawalpindi before the closing date. Applicants are required to attach copies of their CNIC, domicile, educational certificates, relevant experience certificates, and recent passport-sized photographs.
Candidates must also bring their original documents at the time of the interview for verification. The department has stated that incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
