Rickshaw Sale Reaches New High as Pakistan’s Two-Wheeler Market Sets FY26 Record

Pakistan’s motorcycle and Rickshaw Sale market achieved a record-breaking performance in FY26. Strong consumer demand helped the industry post its highest annual sales in history.

According to data shared by Arif Habib Limited, motorcycle sales reached 1.932 million units during FY26. This surpassed the previous record of 1.853 million units, which was set in FY21.

When three-wheelers are included, total industry sales climbed to 1.974 million units. This marks the highest combined sales ever recorded for Pakistan’s two-wheeler and three-wheeler industry.

The latest figures show a major recovery after weaker performances in FY23 and FY24. Industry sales improved steadily over the past two years as economic conditions became more stable.

Higher consumer confidence and stronger purchasing power also supported the increase in demand. Buyers returned to the market as financing conditions and overall economic activity improved.

The strong performance highlights the growing demand for affordable transportation across Pakistan. Motorcycles and three-wheelers remain popular because they offer low operating costs and practical daily use.

Atlas Honda continued to dominate the motorcycle market in FY26. The company sold a record 1.69 million motorcycles during the fiscal year.

With these sales, Atlas Honda captured nearly 88 percent of the total motorcycle market. The company maintained a significant lead over all other manufacturers.

United Auto secured the second position in the industry. It recorded total sales of 190,800 motorcycles during FY26.

The Rickshaw Sale segment also delivered solid results during the fiscal year. Sazgar Engineering remained the leading company in Pakistan’s three-wheeler market.

The company recorded 28,600 three-wheeler sales during FY26. Its strong performance helped support the overall growth of the industry.

Industry experts believe the latest figures reflect improving market confidence. Better economic conditions encouraged more consumers to purchase new motorcycles and rickshaws.

The record sales also indicate that demand for personal and commercial transport remains strong. Many people continue to prefer motorcycles and rickshaws due to their affordability and fuel efficiency.

Looking ahead, manufacturers will likely focus on maintaining production and meeting growing customer demand. Market performance will depend on economic stability and consumer spending in the coming months.
