Rs100 Million Worth of Ice Seized at Islamabad Airport

A major smuggling attempt was foiled at Islamabad airport as Airports Security Force (ASF) officials seized crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as Ice, worth Rs100 million from a Muscat-bound passenger on Monday.

The suspect, identified as Noorullah Khan, had reportedly concealed 790 grams of the drug in the lower compartment of his trolley bag. ASF personnel detected the hidden stash during a routine baggage check.

Following the recovery, the passenger was immediately detained and handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further investigation and legal proceedings.

Authorities praised the ASF team for their vigilance, terming the operation a crucial step in curbing international drug trafficking via air routes.
