The first Rs750 prize bond draw of 2026 is scheduled for January 15, officials from the National Savings Centre confirmed. The draw will take place in Peshawar at 10:00 am.
The prize bond draw offers investors a chance to win significant cash prizes while keeping their money safe. Bonds can be encashed anytime, making them a popular investment option across Pakistan.
The Rs750 prize bond draw includes the following cash prizes:
- First Prize: Rs1,500,000 (1 winner)
- Second Prize: Rs500,000 (3 winners)
- Third Prize: Rs9,300 (1,696 winners)
Winners can claim their prizes at any nearby branch of the National Savings Centre.
The previous Rs750 prize bond draw was held on October 15, 2025, in Muzaffarabad. The first prize of Rs1,500,000 was claimed by bond number 797063. The second prizes went to bond numbers 118702, 290665, and 668206.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has increased withholding tax rates on prize bond winnings and profit on debt from July 2025. Filers now pay 15% tax on winnings, while non-filers face a 30% tax rate.
Despite taxation, prize bonds remain a preferred investment for many Pakistanis due to their security and the opportunity to win large sums. The National Savings Centre holds prize bond draws every three months, encouraging widespread participation.
Alongside the Rs750 bond draw, the National Savings Centre also released the 2026 schedule for premium prize bonds. The Rs40,000 premium draw will be held in Rawalpindi, Muzaffarabad, Sialkot, and Lahore throughout the year. The Rs25,000 premium draw is scheduled in Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, and Karachi.
Officials noted that if any draw date coincides with a public holiday, the prize bond draw will be conducted on the following working day. Investors are encouraged to check the official schedule and participate in upcoming draws for a chance to win.
