Saudi Arabia Launches New Service On Tawakkalna App To Report Aerial Threats

Saudi Arabia Launches New Service On Tawakkalna App To Report Aerial Threats

Saudi Arabia has introduced a new service on the national Tawakkalna mobile application to strengthen national security. The feature allows residents and foreign nationals to report suspicious aerial activity in real time.

The initiative was launched by the Saudi Ministry of Defense as tensions continue in parts of the Gulf region. Officials say the new service enables people to report sightings of drones, missiles, or any unusual objects in the sky.

Reports submitted through the application will be sent directly to relevant authorities. This allows security agencies to respond quickly and assess potential threats without delay.

Major General Turki Al-Malki, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, said the new service will improve cooperation between citizens and defense institutions. He explained that public participation can help authorities detect risks earlier.

According to Al-Malki, Saudi Armed Forces remain fully capable of dealing with aerial threats. However, information from the public can support faster identification of suspicious activity.

The system is designed to use advanced technology to process reports efficiently. Once a report is submitted, security agencies can analyze the information and respond if needed.

Officials said the goal of the new service is to strengthen national defense by involving residents in protecting the country. Citizens and expatriates can now play an active role in reporting possible dangers.

The Tawakkalna application already provides several government services to users across Saudi Arabia. The addition of this feature expands its role in supporting safety and security measures.

Authorities emphasized that people should only report genuine concerns. Accurate reports will help security teams focus on real threats and avoid unnecessary alarms.

Security experts say community participation can improve early detection of potential risks. Quick reporting also helps authorities act before a threat becomes serious.

The Ministry of Defense said the new service reflects Saudi Arabiaโ€™s ongoing efforts to modernize its security systems. By combining technology with public cooperation, officials aim to strengthen national preparedness against aerial threats.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to download or update the Tawakkalna app to access the feature and follow official guidelines when using it.
