Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat has cited ongoing health challenges as the reason for his absence from recent protests in Islamabad. In a heartfelt social media message, he revealed a significant weight loss of approximately 10 kilograms and concerning liver function test results. Marwat emphasized the need for prayers as he navigates his health issues, assuring supporters of his dedication to the PTI and its goals.
Recently, Marwat was hospitalized after contracting Covid-19, stating that he is experiencing high fever and body aches. He requested prayers for his recovery, noting that doctors have indicated the pandemic’s current strain is less lethal. Additionally, he refuted rumors of poisoning and confirmed that no significant symptoms were found during his medical tests.

Expressing gratitude for the support he has received from party members and the public, Marwat promised not to miss any PTI gatherings after May 9. He urged his followers to remain united and emphasized the importance of solidarity among PTI members. Despite his health setbacks, he remains optimistic about returning to party activities, declaring, “With Allah’s grace, I will return stronger.”
