Karachi is set to experience a significant rise in temperature, with the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicting a peak of 38°C.
The rise in heat is primarily due to a shift in wind direction, which has led to hot and humid conditions expected to last for the next 24 hours. The “feels-like” temperature could reach up to 41°C due to high humidity levels.

As of this morning, Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 25.7°C, with northwesterly winds blowing at 8 km/h. Meteorologists warn that the wind pattern is making the heat more intense.
The city’s maximum temperature is expected to range from 36°C to 38°C, though some relief may come in the evening when the sea breeze returns.
The PMD has urged residents to stay hydrated, avoid outdoor activities during peak heat, and take necessary precautions.
