Swat, Mingora, and several other districts of Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced continued snowfall, rain, and a sharp drop in temperatures. The ongoing weather has intensified cold conditions across the region.
Intermittent rain was recorded in Mingora and other parts of Swat, while snowfall persisted at popular tourist destinations. In Kohat, light drizzle affected the city and surrounding areas, further lowering temperatures.
Dera Ismail Khan also reported rainfall, adding to the cold weather. After a long dry spell, light rain in Upper Dir brought temporary relief to local residents. Similarly, Karak saw light rain in the city and nearby areas, making the cold more intense.
Mansehra experienced rainfall in the plains, while snowfall continued in upper regions, including Kaghan Valley, Siran Valley, and Konsh Valley. Babusar Top, a major tourist spot, recorded snowfall exceeding one foot, attracting winter visitors despite freezing conditions.
Rainfall was also reported in Haripur and Tehsil Ghazi, while Chaman and its surrounding areas faced heavy rainfall. Low-lying localities in Chaman were submerged, disrupting daily life and causing traffic delays.
Authorities have advised residents and travelers to stay cautious as snowfall, rain, and cold weather persist across Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Roads may become slippery, and temperatures are expected to remain low in the coming days.
