Speaker Suspends NA Security Officials After Parliament Arrests

In a significant move following the recent Parliament arrests, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has suspended five security officials from the National Assembly. This action includes a four-month suspension for Sergeant-at-Arms Ashfaq Ashraf due to negligence in maintaining the security of the Parliament House.

Additionally, four other security personnel—Assistant Waqas Ahmed and Junior Assistants Ubaidullah, Waheed Safdar, and Muhammad Haroon—have been suspended for their failure to ensure parliamentary security.
