The Bar’s statement condemned the excessive force used by authorities, labeling it unacceptable and calling for greater accountability and transparency in how the situation was handled. The association emphasized that civil liberties must be protected and urged the government to uphold constitutional rights, adding that it would continue to advocate for justice and the rule of law.

The demand for the resignation of key government officials has fueled public outrage, with several political parties and civil society organizations also pressing for an investigation into the matter. The government has yet to issue an official response, but the incident has heightened political tensions, leading to expectations of further legal challenges and potential protests in the near future.
