A man in Karachi has shared a video exposing a TCS rider for attempting to harass his wife after delivering her credit card. The rider reportedly stole her contact details and tried to contact her directly.
In the video, the TCS rider is seen standing beside the man, admitting that he had reached out to the woman. The man stated he did not retaliate but instead informed the rider’s employer and his own family about the incident.
Tabish Ali, the husband, urged both the bank and TCS to take strict action and ensure customer data is protected. “Companies must be careful with personal details and act against riders who violate privacy,” he said.
The man identified the rider as Sikander, who works at TCS’s Airport branch. He added that the rider had previously attempted to meet his wife and showed up again recently to contact her.
According to the husband, the rider mistakenly thought he was communicating with a woman, and even requested forgiveness after being confronted. The man refused to forgive him, emphasizing the need to set an example to prevent similar incidents in the future.
This incident has raised concerns about privacy and safety regarding courier services in Pakistan. Experts say employees of delivery services should follow strict guidelines to prevent harassment and misuse of customer information.
The Karachi case highlights the importance of vigilance when sharing personal information with service providers. Customers are advised to report any suspicious behavior immediately and request action from the company.
TCS has yet to issue a formal statement on the incident, but such events put pressure on courier companies to strengthen their policies and take responsibility for employee misconduct.
