A tragic incident unfolded in Rajanpur, Punjab on a Sunday, where an overturned passenger bus claimed the lives of at least five people, leaving 20 others with injuries. The ill-fated bus was carrying pilgrims from Sakhi Sarwar to Jacobabad when the accident occurred in Fazilpur, Rajanpur district.
According to available information, the rescue sources verified that five individuals lost their lives at the scene of the accident, while 20 others suffered injuries in the devastating crash. Responding promptly to the distress call, rescue teams rushed to the location and efficiently transported the deceased and injured passengers to a nearby medical facility for immediate treatment and care.

An earlier heartbreaking incident on May 31 in Khanewal echoes this tragedy, wherein at least six people were killed, and 30 others were injured when the passenger bus they were travelling in flipped over after skidding off a bridge near Pull Rango. During that unfortunate journey from Lahore to Multan, the ill-fated bus met with the accident.
Rescue officials, who investigated the Khanewal incident, reported that it occurred near Pull Rango and was the result of the driver losing control while attempting to avoid a collision with a motorcycle on the road. Consequently, the bus overturned, leading to the devastating loss of lives and injuries to numerous passengers on board.
