Three more bandits were killed on Saturday during a joint police and rangers’ operation in the kutcha area of Rojhan. This raises the total number of dacoits killed in the operation to five.
The law enforcement action targeted outlaws in Kucha Jamal and Kucha Karachi. Two dacoits had been killed earlier in the ongoing operation, which is now in its fifth day. Police sources confirmed that the joint teams from Sindh and Punjab police, along with rangers, are actively pursuing remaining criminals in the kutcha area.
Police have been using drone cameras for surveillance to track the bandits and locate their hideouts. A boat carrying outlaws attempting to rescue trapped criminals was attacked, resulting in the deaths of several bandits. The slain dacoits have been identified as Lala Sukhani, Sheru, Ashiq, Zafari Jhabeel, and Ghamani Gopang. All were wanted in multiple criminal cases.
In addition to neutralizing the bandits, law enforcement teams destroyed 13 hideouts and bunkers used by criminals in the kutcha area. Officials said these hideouts were key points for planning robberies and other illegal activities.
Authorities had previously issued warnings to the outlaws, urging them to surrender. Police stated that those who failed to surrender would face lethal action, highlighting their commitment to restoring law and order in the region.
The ongoing operation in the kutcha area demonstrates a strong push by law enforcement to eliminate criminal networks that have long terrorized local communities. Police continue to monitor the area closely and have assured citizens of their safety during the operation.
Residents in nearby areas have welcomed the action, hoping it will bring lasting peace and security to the region.
