Social media personality and TikToker Babra, popularly known as Beebo Baloch, was arrested in Karachi on charges of distributing narcotics in elite areas of the city.
The arrest took place during a police raid in Defence Phase 5 near 26th Street, Khayaban-e-Badar, where the suspect was found in possession of crystal meth, commonly known as “ice.” Authorities revealed that Bebo Baloch had been on the Special Branch’s “B-category” surveillance list and had a history of criminal activity, including two prior arrests related to theft.

During initial questioning, Babra shared that she began her modeling career in 2007 and rose to fame through social media. Following family disputes, she moved into a flat in Muslim Commercial, where she continued her work in modeling and online content creation.
She admitted that her exposure to exclusive parties introduced her to drugs like cocaine and crystal meth. Over time, she transitioned from being a user to becoming actively involved in the distribution of narcotics. Police stated that she utilized her social media presence to supply drugs to affluent youth in DHA and surrounding upscale neighborhoods.
Babra also named several accomplices linked to the drug ring, and law enforcement agencies are currently pursuing further arrests. A case has been officially filed under the Anti-Narcotics Act (FIR No. 25/454), and an in-depth investigation is ongoing.
The incident has sparked concern about the growing role of social media influencers in illegal activities, particularly in the distribution of drugs through digital platforms.
