Torrential Rain lashed several parts of Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Wednesday, leading to urban flooding and turning roads into water channels. Bokra recorded the highest rainfall at 66 millimeters, while areas such as Blue Area, Bari Imam, Bhara Kahu, Zero Point, and Faizabad also experienced intense downpours.
Due to the continued heavy rains, authorities declared an emergency in Rawalpindi, with multiple low-lying areas submerged. Numerous vehicles and motorcycles were left stranded in floodwaters.

The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) reported that over 80 millimeters of rain had fallen across the twin cities, although the water level in Nullah Lai remained under control.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecast that the rain is likely to continue intermittently throughout the day. In its broader weather outlook:
- Southern Punjab may see partly cloudy skies with chances of rain, while hot and humid weather is expected in other regions, including Sialkot, Lahore, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Kasur, and Sargodha.
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is expected to receive rain in areas such as Dir, Swat, Chitral, Kohistan, Malakand, Bajaur, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Mohmand, Khyber, Waziristan, Orakzai, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, Mardan, Hangu, and Kurram.
- Most of Sindh will remain hot and humid, though showers are likely in Tharparkar, Umerkot, and Mirpurkhas.
- Balochistan will largely experience hot, dry, and partly cloudy conditions, with possible rainfall in Zhob, Musa Khel, Kohlu, Barkhan, and Khuzdar.
Emergency teams remain on alert in Islamabad and Rawalpindi as rain continues to affect daily life in the twin cities.
