Two Civilians and a Soldier Martyred in D.I Khan Oil Firm Attack

Pakistan faces heightened distress following a surge in terrorist activities, with the most recent incident striking Dera Ismail Khan, situated in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province toward the western side of the Indus River.

This marks the second assault on an oil company within a week in the Darazinda region of Dera Ismail Khan district, targeting a convoy linked to a local development endeavor, falling prey to militant aggression.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media division, reported that during this recent attack, two civilian employees of the company lost their lives, identified as 35-year-old Muhammad Faisal and 29-year-old Asif Kamran, both residents of the Karak region. Additionally, Sepoy Syed Muhammad Shaheen Shah, deployed for the project’s security, also fell victim to the assault.

Responding swiftly, the armed forces launched a comprehensive operation in the affected area to eliminate any lingering terrorist threats.

The military’s commitment to eradicating terrorism remains steadfast, emphasizing its dedication to supporting economic development in the region.
