ISLAMABAD: United Arab Emirates UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is undertaking an official visit to Pakistan today, December 26, 2025. The visit marks an important milestone in bilateral relations between the two countries.

Islamabad Police have issued a traffic diversion plan for December 26, 2025. The advisory aims to ensure smooth movement during official engagements. Due to a special program, traffic diversions will be in place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Diversions will affect the Express Highway and Murree Road near Club Road. Travelers from Rawat heading toward Islamabad via the Express Highway are advised to use the RawatโRawalpindi Peshawar Road instead.
Similarly, citizens traveling from IJP Road or Srinagar Highway should use inner-city service roads. Police have advised commuters to leave 20 to 25 minutes earlier than usual to avoid delays.
