By the end of 2025, the UAE’s travel and tourism sector is projected to support over 925,000 jobs. The report highlights the country’s rapid recovery and ambitious development strategies, forecasting international visitor spending to reach AED 228.5 billion—a 37% increase from the 2019 pre-pandemic high.

Moreover, the sector’s contribution to the national economy is expected to hit AED 267.5 billion in 2025, accounting for around 13% of the UAE’s GDP. This underscores the nation’s rising prominence as a leading global hub for tourism and investment.

WTTC, representing the private travel and tourism industry worldwide, includes members who are top executives of major global companies in sectors such as hotels, airlines, airports, cruise lines, car rentals, and railways. The Council advocates collectively to governments and international organizations on behalf of the industry.
