Saudi Arabia has announced the final deadlines for pilgrims planning to perform Umrah in 2026. Authorities have issued clear instructions regarding Visa and Entry requirements for the current Umrah season.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed that the last date to issue Umrah visas will be the first day of Shawwal. Pilgrims must also complete their Visa and Entry process before the 15th of Shawwal to travel to the Kingdom.
Officials said the deadline for pilgrims to leave Saudi Arabia will be the first day of Zil Qadah. Authorities stressed that travelers must strictly follow these dates to avoid legal issues or travel disruptions.
The announcement was made during the ministryโs 17th consecutive virtual meeting with Saudi Umrah companies. During the meeting, officials highlighted the importance of following all Visa and Entry regulations during the transition from the Umrah season to the Hajj season.
Authorities also reminded pilgrims that Hajj cannot be performed using an Umrah visa. Only travelers with a valid Hajj visa will be allowed to perform the annual pilgrimage. Those arriving on Umrah visas must leave the country before the Hajj season officially begins.
The ministry urged Umrah service providers and travel companies to guide pilgrims properly. Officials asked them to ensure all visa procedures, travel arrangements, and accommodation plans are completed on time.
Pilgrims have been advised to finalize their travel documents as soon as possible. Delays in completing the Visa and Entry requirements could prevent travelers from entering Saudi Arabia before the deadline.
Saudi authorities are also focusing on improving coordination with international travel agencies. This step aims to make the Umrah process smoother and reduce last-minute travel problems.
Meanwhile, Pakistani pilgrims have been encouraged to check official platforms for accurate information. Authorities recommend using the Pak Hajj App or the Ministry of Religious Affairs website for verified updates.
Officials say following the announced deadlines will help ensure a smooth conclusion to the Umrah season. Proper planning and compliance with Visa and Entry rules will allow pilgrims to complete their religious journey without complications.
