As PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif prepares to return to Pakistan with an aggressive rhetoric, a “narrative committee” has been established within the party to assess and potentially shape the party’s response to his narrative.
The committee, comprising around ten members, has been tasked with gathering public feedback and assessing the feasibility of the retaliatory narrative put forward by Nawaz Sharif.
The committee has held two virtual meetings and is set to submit its findings and proposals to the party leadership. While some within the party are skeptical of the aggressive narrative, the final decision on the party’s stance will rest with Nawaz Sharif.
The narrative committee includes prominent PML-N leaders such as Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Saad Rafique, and Marrium Aurangzeb, among others. The committee’s discussions also revolve around engaging young voters and adapting to the demands of contemporary times.
